Meet our new female CEO: Anna Mellstrand

Say hello to our new CEO Anna! We are happy to be able to tell you that Anna Mellstrand, 32, will take over the helm as CEO after the company's founder Rickard Asp from September this year.

Anna is extremely appreciated by both clients and employees and will be perfect as the new CEO, to take Digital Dominance to the next level.

Many of our clients have had the chance to get to know Anna since 2014 when she stepped into DD's then office in Täby. In recent years, as co-owner and COO, she has been highly involved in building our fantastic team, delivering clients results and creating the great growth we have had.

After my five years here at Digital Dominance, I am honored, happy and excited to take over the helm as the new CEO. We have had fantastic development in recent years and I'm incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far during the journey, both on the client side and as a company. Now I humbly look forward to continuing to work together towards our vision: not the biggest, but the best!

The quick version: Who is Anna?

Anna is the small town girl who, after graduation, found her way out of the forests in Dalarna to London and economics studies in Uppsala, before she ended up in the capital to become "that kind of Stockholmer" and "work with data". With previous experience as a marketing manager on the client side and in running her own communications agency, Anna has scraped together more than 10 years of experience in www, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Niclas Andersson takes over as COO

In the role of COO, we welcome Niclas Andersson, 40, the business developer and diving geek who we immediately met when he landed on Swedish soil last year after +10 years as marketing manager and company leader in warmer latitudes.

Many of you know Niclas as a bundle of energy and a problem solver who fixes your toughest tracking problems, manages projects and is always in a cheerful mood. Niclas has a background as a computer engineer and is perhaps the only person in Sweden who genuinely thinks that Monday is the best day of the week.

Niclas is the adventurer who tackles everyday challenges the same way he tackles Mexican cave diving and other extreme sports - with enthusiasm, energy and creativity. So far, we haven't seen a challenge Niclas doesn't take on, whether it's cutting edge measurement problems, increasing sales, digital strategies or exploring World War II wreckage. In other words – a perfect person for the multifaceted role of COO!

Mathieu Degas – our new client director

Kaizen – a Japanese concept of continuous improvement and development is one of the core values ​​that have existed since the birth of Digital Dominance. Each of us in the team works from the basis of continuous improvement, regardless of whether it concerns the results of the clients or Digital Dominance as an agency.

Given our growth, there is greater value than ever in formalizing this work and taking it to the next level. Therefore, we are happy that Mathieu Degas, in addition to his role as client manager/project manager, will take on the role of Client Director!

Quick version: Who is Mathieu?

Mathieu is our SEO expert, problem solver, UX professional, website optimizer and the office's own Bengt Fritiofsson, responsible for educating us all in French wine and food culture. With roots in Lyon, France, Mathieu has many years of experience working internationally with digital marketing, including Vietnam and Sydney. He has been living in Sweden with his family for a couple of years and is unreasonably enthusiastic about snow and cold.

With his commitment and many years of international experience from some of the world's toughest industries, we look forward to seeing Mathieu in the role of Client Director!

Rickard Asp continues with the same commitment

Our former CEO Rickard Asp is also Digital Dominance's founder and chairman of the board. When he now hands over the CEO baton, he says that "we will not get rid of him so easily" and will continue to work with the same commitment in DD, and an even greater focus on strategy, business development and sales.

With our awesome team of over 20 people, a wider lineup than ever with lots of energy, we are more than ready to take on the autumn. We look forward to continuing to grow together with our team and our clients in 2019!
